Zone 1: Market Closed in Dhaka City
South of Dhaka city is zone 1. However, Bangla Bazar, Bangsal, Dholaikhal, Gandaria, Gulistan, Jatrabari and wari are in Zone 1. Besides, Zone 1 consists also of Patuatuli, Shyambazar, Ahsan Manzil, Lalbagh, Nawabpur, Chankharpur, and Tipu sultan road.
Most importantly, all the markets of zone 1 are closed on Friday and markets are open on the other day from morning 10 am tonight 8 pm. Additionally, zone 1 markets are open on Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm. Hence, Saturday is considered as a half-day of zone 1.
Zone 2: Dhaka Weekly Closed Day
Here is zone 2. Specifically, zone 2 consists of Rampura, Banashree, Khilgaon, Goran. It also consists of Malibagh, Bashabo, Madertek, Mugda, Manda, sabuj ganj along with the east side of Kamalpur, Manik Nagar, Dhalpur, and Saidapur. Apart from that the sides of Jatrabari, Demra, Sahnir Akhra, Rayerbagh, Shankarpur, and Dania are also included in zone 2.
However, markets in zone 2 are completely closed on Saturday. But they are closed for half day on Monday, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Zone 6: Dhaka City Market Weekend
