It was a sunny day and we were all out at the park. There were kids running around, playing on the playground, and old folks chatting about their grandchildren. In addition to that, there were picnic tables with people bringing in food from home or just eating stuff they bought at one of the nearby kiosks. It was like a big family reunion but without any relatives I actually liked being around.

One of the best memories I have with my family are picnics. They’re a great way to get outdoors and enjoy nature, not to mention that they’re really fun! We used to go all over our small town, but now we mostly just stay at one park in particular because it’s close and has everything we need. The only downside is when you don’t plan ahead for food or drinks, then you end up having nothing left in your bag except for some old crackers from two weeks ago…yuck! But other than that, it’s always been a blast.

The experience was even sweeter because now I’m older and able to enjoy things more than before. My grandparents are getting up there in age so every moment counts when they’re around!
