Government Hazi Muhammad Mohsin College is another notable Collage in Chittagong. It’s also one of the oldest collages in Chittagong after which was established in 1874. It was named after the philanthropist Muhammad Mohsin.

The motto of the institute is Knowledge for enlightened. Mir Abdur Rashid is the founder and Mir Abdur Rashid is the principal of it. It has more than 10 thousand with a campus area of 31 acres. It has direct affiliation with Bangladesh National University.

Chittagong Government Girls College

Chittagong Government Girls College is the best institute for girls. The college was established in 1957 and located in Nasirabad. It has been providing various facilities for women from the beginning of the journey.

The motto of the college is Knowledge is Power. Professor Md. Abul Hasan is the principal and Professor Tahmina Akhter Nur is the vice principal. It has an affiliation with the national university. It provides honours education as well.

BAF Shaheen College Chittagong

BAF Shaheen College Chittagong is also a better option to continue Studies in the city. A total of six Bangladesh Air Force Shaheen Colleges are there in Bangladesh. It’s one of them. It wasn established in 1978 by Bangladesh Air Force and located in Patenga Thana, Chittagong.

First time, it was not collage; in the year of 1985-86 it started higher education. It also offers English versions from class two to five since 2006. Bangladesh Air force has been operating this institute. 

The motto of the institute is Education Mortification Discipline. As of 2020, Group Captain Ataharul Kabir is the principal of the institute. It has a large playground where students practice everyday. It also arranges yearly football competitions.

Chittagong Cantonment Public College

Chittagong Cantonment Public College is an institute that is led by the Bangladesh army. It was started journey by 1961 at the time of Pakistani government. Later on, after the victory of the independent of Bangladesh, it came under the control of the government.

It comes up with the motto of Allah Give Me Wisdom. Colonel Md. Moniruzzaman is the principal of the collage. It also offers English versions to make the education standard than others institute on this area.

Cantonment English School and College

Cantonment English School and College is another best college in this area. It was established in 1998 as a name of Cantonment International School. The motto of the institute is Education for Life.

Although it was opened as a Bangla medium, later on it was converted into English version in 2005. It has excellent outdoor activities as well. In the year of 2018, a student from the school called Zawad Chowdhury won the first gold medal for Bangladesh.

Ispahani Public School and College
